Ryanair’s free check-in window is just two days before you travel, so if you’re flying on Wednesday 7 November or Thursday 8 November, make sure you don’t get caught out. Ryanair recommends customers check in online and print their boarding passes on Tuesday 6 November if possible.
You WON’T be able to check in online between 5pm on Wednesday 7 November and 5am on Thursday 8 November. And if you don’t manage to check in online before your flight, Ryanair has confirmed you WILL have to pay its airport check-in fee of £55.
Ryanair says the system outage is to allow it to upgrade its reservation system. It comes less than a week after Ryanair introduced new baggage restrictions, meaning non-priority customers can now only take one small bag on a flight without paying extra.
