Marcus joins from the BBC, where he has most recently been working on digital strategy for the director general’s office. Prior to that he was head of online at BBC Scotland.
His broadcast credits include assistant editor of Newsnight and postings at the BBC’s Moscow, Washington and New York bureaux.
Also a former commissioning editor and executive producer for BBC Science programmes, Marcus has been responsible for award-winning shows such as Afterlife, Planet Ant and Supermarket Secrets.
